We’re looking to welcome an experienced and motivated construction health and safety consultant to our team to support our clients.

Our clients benefit from our consultants understanding their sector, so this post is for anyone with a full understanding of CDM and managing health and safety in the construction industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and safety-conscious individual to join our friendly team and contribute to the continued growth of the businesses.

With a salary of between £30,000 and £34,000 we offer a company mobile, laptop and mileage allowance to ensure you can work on-site, on our premises or at home. We also provide workplace pension, healthcare, ongoing CPD and training. By joining the Browns team you’ll support projects and organisations across the country to ensure our clients have no health and safety or wellbeing worries.

Your new job:

  • Advise and support our varied clients with their health and safety requirements
  • Regularly complete on-site audits for clients and projects, including writing full audit reports
  • Take on the role of CDM advisor or Principal Designer for construction projects across the country
  • Create and prepare pre-construction documents and construction phase plans
  • Advise and support clients with PPQ and SSIP applications.
  • Support and mentor our trainee health and safety consultant

About you:

  • You have experience in a CDM advisory role
  • You know all there is to know about the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • You have NEBOSH General (essential minimum) or NEBOSH Construction (desired) and/or equivalent
  • You’re a member or affiliate of IOSH and APS
  • You’ve got a full UK Driving Licence and your own transport
