Browns Health and Safety are a well established consultancy and training provider, working predominantly in the Midlands area. We are currently based in South Wigston but are looking to re-locate possibly to Lutterworth within the next few months. New VacanciesLast updated: March 2008ConsultantSouth Wigston, Leicester, UKWe are steadily expanding and are looking to recruit an experienced health and safety professional. The candidate should be experienced in a variety of industries with excellent people skills. The roleThe role involves managing your own client accounts, identifying the requirements and assisting the client to comply with their legal requirements. This will include covering all aspects of the clients needs from risk assessments, policy and procedures, giving suitable advice and support to implement a comprehensive health and safety management system. The opportunity may be available to deliver training, but is not a specific requirement. The candidateYou must be able to demonstrate an ability to apply the specific requirements of health and safety to most industries and be prepared to work as a team and research areas to ensure legal compliance is obtained. The successful candidate will work well on their own initiative as well as part of a team will be committed to delivering a high standard of work. QualificationsThe candidate must have as a minimum the NEBOSH general certificate along with other relevant industry qualifications or specialisms. We would expect candidates with only basic levels of qualifications to be working towards higher qualifications in health and safety and be members of relevant health and safety organisations. Experience of health and safety auditing, risk assessments, safe systems of work and client management or sales would be an advantage.
