Course Overview

MHFA Mental Heatlh Aware is an introductory four-hour training session to raise awareness of mental health. We’re now offering this course online, so you can enjoy it live from the comfort of your home or workplace.

The course gives you an understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma, by providing a basic knowledge of some common mental health issues.

An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing will also provide you with the confidence to offer support to someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issues.

A course manual for to you for to refer to whenever you need it and a workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health will be sent in the post in advance of the course.
