This course is designed for anyone with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments and is useful for all personnel contributing to the risk assessment process. The overall aim is for candidates to acquire knowledge and practical skills to improve their competency in carrying out general risk assessments under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.

The main purpose of his course is to enable learners to understand the basic principles of risk assessment. This qualification will therefore give all employees the ability to contribute to the process and always act to protect their own health and safety and that of others.
