Karen Adams
Office Manager / Advisor / Trainer

I have been with Browns since August 2008, and have seen the company develop and grow.

Originally trained as a chef and working as a pub manageress for 20 years before using my experiences to become an NVQ assessor.

In 2005 I completed my NEBOSH General Certificate and became a Health and Safety Advisor in 2006 where I carried out thousands of risk assessments for work experience students.

I enjoy the interaction with clients, looking after the HR side of Browns and helping to take the company forward.

Another enjoyable aspect is training on a variety of topics for various governing bodies.

I have found over the years that although health and safety is purely common sense, common sense is not very common.
