Having recently joined Browns from a totally different background, I have found the role to be a breath of fresh air. It is very varied and interesting but the nicest thing is working with a group of like-minded people.
Previously I worked as a PA and then an estate agent so things could not be more dissimilar, although "people skills" were and are important in all the roles I have taken on.
Probably the time I needed the most people skills was in my major career (from leaving school until 17 years a go) as a professional singer. I was incredibly lucky to travel the world, love my job and be paid for it of course!
I have 2 cats - Bud and Stella and as we have recently moved house, Bud has discovered rabbits and loves to bring us "gifts" of the furry nature. As Stella is vegetarian, rabbits don't really bother her!
Out of the office I "like" running (under pressure really!) reading and gardening. Mind you the odd glass of wine might pass my lips but can that be classed as a hobby?
