I started working at Browns in September 2009, but have been involved in company finance for over 10 years.

It was very easy to settle in to my new surroundings here, the team at Browns are undeniably the nicest bunch of people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. 

The company is continually developing, which in turn makes my role diverse and rewarding.  I genuinely look forward to coming to work – how many people can say that?

When I left school my first job was a quality control laboratory assistant in a brewery, which for some may sound like an ideal vocation.  I then spent many years working for a merchant bank specialising in international trade finance.

I have also worked for a college of further education, a print finishers and bespoke shopfitters.

I have 2 teenage children and as a family we love spending holidays on the North Cornwall coast, braving the waves.  I like to keep relatively fit and have recently taken up photography.
