Most of my health and safety training experience and qualifications come from my background in the services which gives me a practical and “hands on” approach to health and safety. 

Much of my past experience is related to the quarrying / heavy plant and construction sectors with a healthy mix of generalist knowledge, and a few areas which you don’t normally find in the “high street”.

I started my Health and Safety experience in 2003 when I attended Nottingham Trent University and completed a BSc (HONS) degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Management. Having recently joined Browns from a totally different background, I have found the role to be a breath of fresh air.  It is very varied and interesting but the nicest thing is working with a group of like-minded people.
