Health and Wellbeing Open Day in Lutterworth23rd April 2019 | Charity Work,Events News,Services

You are invited to our open day in Lutterworth on Thursday 16 May (10am – 3pm) – the perfect opportunity to browse information and chat to our staff with no obligation and no charge. If you’d like to find out where to start with health and wellbeing provision at your workplace and the various support services available – our team are available to help.

At Browns, we acknowledge that historically the focus of health and safety in the workplace has tended to be towards safety. Fortunately, the importance of health and wellbeing is now being widely recognised.

We have always seen our role as health and safety advisors and trainers to be primarily supportive and when we assist our clients with their moral and legal obligations, they know we are on their side. Many of our clients are small businesses, needing guidance as they start to grow and develop and our hand-holding approach can make that process less stressful.

Looking after the health and wellbeing of employees, colleagues and ourselves is intrinsic to a person’s happiness, performance and relationships – both at work and at home.

6 months ago we launched our clinical reflexology services from our purpose built treatment room and we are now offering 2 amazing new courses: IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing (1 day) and MHFA England Mental Health First Aid (Adult 2 days). These services and courses are all available to the public and not just our clients.

If you are unsure about how and why you should incorporate health and wellbeing provision in your workplace, what training courses are available, what your legal obligations are or where you can go to found out more, come along and have a chat.

If you are interested in becoming a mental health first aider, our instructor can tell you more about this amazing 2 day course; the topics covered, how you could benefit from the course and help you decide whether or not its for you!

Have you discovered the benefits of reflexology? If not this is the ideal opportunity to watch a demonstration, or even try a short complementary taster. Our fully qualified practitioner will be able to answer your questions and explain more about this relaxing complementary therapy – also being offered at our training centre.

Complementary refreshments will be available throughout the day and although we are making no charge, we will be collecting voluntary charitable donations in aid of Mind (registered charity no. 219830) and all contributions will be gratefully received.
